Frequently Asked Questions
| May we arrive at our flat on any day of the week? |
Yes, rentals can start and end on any day. |
| May we book it for less than one week? |
The minimum rent payable is one week but you may stay for as few a days as you wish. |
| What rent do I pay if we stay 8 or 9 nights? |
We pro-rate the rent by dividing the weekly rate by seven and then multiplying that by the number of nights you require. |
| How do I gain access to my flat? |
If you arrive between the hours of 0800 and 1700 a member of staff will be waiting to greet you at your flat. On arrival, just ring your front door bell and they will answer the door and welcome you in! |
| What happens if I arrive at night? |
We urge you to have our car and driver meet you at the airport or train station, or wherever in the London area suits you and the driver will be in possession of your front door keys. The following morning our duty manager will call you to check that you have all you need. |
| May I book your car and driver for other occasions? |
Yes. Their business card is in your flat. |
| What happens if something goes wrong in my apartment while I am staying there? |
Just call our duty manager on their mobile 'phone for assistance and she will make the necessary arrangements, including the waiting for repair men, letting them in and staying while they make the repair. Obviously, our aim is to make your visit to London as hassle-free as possible, so if something does go wrong we handle the problem ourselves as quickly and as efficiently as humanly possible. |
| Supposing it happens after working hours? |
Very occasionally this happens and then you would need to act as you would at home, by calling out the appropriate emergency service. |
| Will there be a cleaner to clean our property while we are there? |
No, not always. Some have a cleaner come during the week and some don't, and so you must check on this before you book. However, if your choice does not include any maid service you can request it. Every place is always thoroughly cleaned after the tenancy and the cost of this, which includes the laundering of your bed linen and towels, is included in the rent that you have paid. |
| What would I pay per hour if I wanted a cleaner to come whilst I am there ? |
£10.00 per hour. |
